International scientific conference “NEOLEX-2023”

Abstract

On December 1-3, 2023, the Institute of Linguistics at the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg) hosted for the fourth time an international scientific and practical conference, initiated and organized by the New Word Dictionary Group at the Department of Modern Russian Lexicography. The conference was devoted to the consideration, analysis and discussion of neological processes in the modern Russian language, in particular, various aspects in the dynamics of linguistic units and phenomena (including lexical-semantic, word-formation, grammatical ones, etc.), current problems of neography and many others. According to the established tradition, the conference was held in an online format, thanks to which specialists in lexicography, lexicology, neography and neology from different cities of Russia and from other countries participated in it.
