Internet commentary within discursive approach

Abstract

The review evaluates the monograph by Alexander V. Romantovsky, dedicated to the genre of Internet commentary on electronic media articles. The author examines the genre of commentary through online communication and the functioning of the modern Russian language in the Internet space. The approach to the analysis of components in the strategic scheme of discourse problematization, consideration of the exchange of communicative roles allow the author to demonstrate the success of the discursive approach to the analysis of comments and to see the speech systematicity of Russian in new sociocultural forms of communication that are generated by the technological development of society. The relevance, novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the work make it possible to use it not only for scientific, but also for linguistic and pragmatic purposes.
