Abstract

The article considers a system of features that allows characterizing the texts of Boris Leonidovich Pasternak's prose as montage-type prose. The juxtaposition of montage fragments is carried out within the framework of a common basis, which is created by the functional and semantic categories of temporality, locative nature, modality, etc., which stabilize the montage structure of the text. Paradigmatic connections between fragments in the structure of a holistic text are carried out on the basis of conceptual integration, as a result of which a metaphorical mental model is realized.
