The article discusses the possibilities of organizing joint project activities of professional lexicographers and students of philology. The importance of such work for attracting young people to science and professional training of lexicographers is emphasized. The article presents the experience of the Experimental Laboratory of Educational Lexicography of Pskov State University, where various forms of work are organized for students of different levels within the framework of elective courses in lexicography, circles, research groups, master's and postgraduate seminars. The article highlights the priority areas of joint project lexicographic activity, identified taking into account the interests of students. Special attention is paid to the methods of educational representation of paremiological, phraseological and grammatical material in bilingual dictionaries developed with the participation of foreign students. Innovative models of dictionary parameterization of Russian proverbs, superstitious beliefs and riddles are shown, taking into account their cultural and historical past and modern features of functioning in colloquial speech and media discourse, including in a transformed form. Based on the material of Pskov urban toponymy, students develop the skills of creating a linguoculturological dictionary: its macrostructuring, taking into account the cultural background of names, drawing up a cultural and historical commentary. The new format of the dictionary of urban toponymy provides for the inclusion of slang material. Using the example of a dictionary entry developed according to the updated parametric model, the levels of a complex description of the official name and its slang version are shown. The traditions of developing youth slang are continued by projects of dictionaries of youth subcultures, reflecting the dynamics of the vocabulary and ideological attitudes of youth. The effectiveness of the joint project activities of students and teachers is confirmed by statistical data: a third of all the products of the Experimental Laboratory of Educational Lexicography published over the past 10 years are dictionaries developed by professional lexicographers in collaboration with students of different levels of education.
